Pros
- Tight fitting in reveals or when butted up to neighbouring blinds
 - Can be motorised (at the time of manufacturing)
 - Light weight blind which are easy to operate
 - When using a cellular fabric they are good at retaining heat in winter
 - Can be fitted into a perfect fit frame
 - Can be floating operating from the top down, bottom up or both
 - Can be used on shaped windows
 
Cons
- Not to everyones taste
 - Lots of surfaces that can collect dust
 - Damages easily if leant against
 - Absorbs moisture as the fabric is more paper based which can stain and water mark if get wet
 - Gathers at the when retracted so don’t get 100% of your window back
 - Can swing in a breezes as with any free hanging blind
 - Can’t easily be motorised at a later date.
