Window blinds

See through or stay private

Discover how the sensational New Vision/Duo blind range from CoolGlass can complete the look of your home, office or conservatory.

Vision / Duo blinds are essentially a looped roller blind made from strips of two complimentary fabrics. One of the fabrics is see-through and the other not. This gives you a semi-private blind during the day and total privacy at night.

Close up of blind

A large selection

Our stylish fabric ranges consist of single or alternating colour fabric stripes, as well as shear and black-out materials.

Vision/Duo Blinds are available in many colours. A matching fabric strip can also be added into the front of the top holder for free.

Your blind can be operated via electricity or a child-safe chrome chain.

Blinds of bifold doors

The best of both worlds

If you like the flexibility and benefits of a traditional roller blind but appreciate the style and privacy options of large Venetians or shutters without the dust, then Vision/Duo Blinds are ideal for you.

Pros and Cons for Vision Duo Blinds

Pros

  • Gives full or partial privacy and glare reduction at multiple heights
  • Modern sleek look
  • Good amount of fabric options
  • Can be concealed partially via cassettes
  • Retract fully, retaining 100% of the window when not in use
  • Can be motorised at a later date (if made on the correct tube size)
  • Can make better use of window sills due to top down operation
  • Great for day time and night time privacy
  • Great for people who like a dressed window

Cons

  • Doesn’t give total black out even with black out fabrics
  • Fabric can wear as it runs through hem bar
  • Can flap and swing in a breeze
  • More expensive than a basic roller as it requires more fabric and must have a cassette box
  • Have larger gaps than other blind types when butted together
  • Can be tricky to use in bay windows due to cassette box clashing
  • Can look fussy from kerbside on Georgian or multi-pane windows
  • Can’t be made as large as a simple roller blind
